Welcome to Foundation Stage Two!
Mrs Walsh is the class teacher in Foundation Stage Two who is supported by learning Support Miss Crookes.
Our curriculum focuses on the seven areas of learning. These are delivered through child –led activities, targeted groups and targeted teaching sessions.
Through play based learning we capture children’s learning and achievements. These can be found on our class twitter page. Please check it out @FS2AngramBank.
Our Early Years Vision
In our Foundation Stage, our vision is that our children know more, remember more and do more. We aim to build secure foundations and prepare children for their next stage of learning and beyond. We provide disadvantaged pupils with some of the knowledge and cultural capital they need to succeed in life. We are passionate that children with SEND achieve the best possible outcomes.
We create an enabling, engaging environment through a carefully balanced EYFS curriculum which combines planned experiences and in the moment interactions. We understand the importance of communication and language so provide a language rich environment where stories are essential.
At Angram Bank we understand that children are unique and have their own personal interests and experiences. We aim for children to be constantly learning and using their critical thinking. We strive for our children to be kind, confident, resilient, curious and independent learners. This is achieved through scaffolding children’s learning, high quality interactions and building strong positive relationships between adults, children and their families.
The impact of our bespoke, ambitious curriculum and skilled, caring adults is that children make good progress in relation to their starting points and feel safe, secure and happy.
